I am a certified Body Control Pilates teacher with 10 years of experience working on the Silver Coast of Zürich. ​Offering individual and duet sessions at my Pilates Studio in Horgen and group mat classes in Thalwil. I am passionate about mindful movement, for me Pilates is as much about mental wellbeing as it is about physical strength and flexibility.

The original name of the method created in the 1920’s by Joseph Pilates, “Contrology” explains a bit better what it is really about: “Contrology is the complete coordination of body, mind, and spirit. Through Contrology, you first purposefully acquire complete control of your own body and then through proper repetition of its exercises you gradually and progressively acquire that natural rhythm and coordination associated with all your subconscious activities.”

Pilates is for me the answer to the stresses of modern living. It’s not just another type of fitness, its purpose isn’t just to tone the body. It helps improve posture, increase strength and flexibility, helps with back and neck pain, it gives you confidence. You really can’t compare it to anything else out there!
